Liverpool vs Dortmund: Probable Lineups – Turkish International Duo Set To Start In International Champions Cup

Jurgen Klopp will take on former club Borussia Dortmund tonight as Liverpool kick off their International Champions Cup pre-season campaign in the United States.

The game will be played at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, with kick-off set for 21:05pm BST tonight.

The Reds have strengthened over the summer with the transfers of Alisson, Fabinho and Naby Keita.

Fabinho and Keita have been in training and are likely to feature.

Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Marko Grujic returned to pre-season training on Friday at Melwood but may not be match fit for the Dortmund clash.

Dortmund are likely to give Turkey international duo Nuri Sahin and Omer Toprak a starting role tonight. Both players are match fit and will be fresh as they did now feature in the World Cup this summer.

Klopp previously managed both Toprak and Sahin.

Sahin meanwhile, enjoyed a brief stint at Liverpool in 2012 on loan from Real Madrid during the Brendan Rodgers era.

Liverpool have yet to lose against Dortmund in five meetings, winning three and drawing twice.
