Liverpool Want Juventus Wonderkid, Would Take ‘Major Offer’ to Pull Off Transfer

Liverpool are interested in Juventus wonderkind Kenan Yildiz according to CalcioMercato.

Per the source, Liverpool’s new sporting director, Jorg Schmadtke, has recommended Yıldız to Reds manager Jürgen Klopp who is reportedly looking for a new striker.

Schmadtke has reportedly been a fan of Yildiz since he rose through the ranks at Bayern Munich and has been tracking his progress since.

The Turkish midfielder joined Juventus from Bayern at the beginning of the season and has already managed to break into the first team.

In fact, Juventus have already extended his contract until 2027 and see the young forward as having a bright future at the club.

Ideally the Italian giants want Yildiz to stay but the club are in financial trouble and would have to listen to a ‘major offer’.

Yıldız is a versatile forward who can play in a variety of positions. He is known for his explosive power, athleticism, and excellent technique.

Juventus have already turned down loan offers for Yildiz and would only listen to offers for the right price.

Interest in growing in the 18-year-old who shone for Turkiye on his full debut for the national team, scoring in the 3-2 victory over Germany.

Yildiz was actually born in Germany but has Turkish heritage and represents Turkiye at senior international level.

The rising star has already broke into the Turkish national team and has three appearances under his belt. He is expected to join the squad at Euro 2024 this summer.

He has played 10 games for Juventus this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
