Liverpool Want To Sign Firmino’s Teammate, 1.91m Tall Brazil International With 16 Goals This Season

Anderson Talisca has been in wonderful form for Besiktas over the past two seasons.

There is only one problem, the powerful attacking midfielder who helped guide the Black Eagles to the league title last term is on loan from Benfica.

Talisca is into his second season on loan with the Istanbul giants.

The 23-year-old has scored 16 times this campaign including four in the Champions League.

It is perhaps little surprise that interest is starting to mount.

Liverpool have become the latest side linked with Talisca.

First it was the Portuguese media, now Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik claim Liverpool want to actually sign the 1.91m tall star.

Per the source, the Reds are very keen on Talisca who has been called up to the Brazil national team.

Liverpool ace Firmino is currently teammates with the man nicknamed Yaya Talisca for having a playing style similar to Yaya Toure.

Talisca will wear the No 18 shirt for Brazil when they take on Russia today in an international friendly.

Besiktas have not given up hope of signing their star man on a permanent deal and have the luxury of being able to complete the transfer for just €21 million.

The Black Eagles have a clause in their contract allowing them to sign him for that fee.

Talisca’s value could increase if he makes the final Brazil squad that travels to Russia for the World Cup.
