Emre Can put on a man of the match display as Liverpool crushed West Ham 4-1 at Anfield Stadium on Saturday.
Can scored the Reds 100th goal of the season, provided an assist and even pulled off a no-look shot that could have resulted in a goal.
Despite being a first-choice starter for head coach Jurgen Klopp and being in impressive form the midfielder of Turkish origin could leave at the end of the season.
Can has just a few months remaining on his current contract but has yet to sign a new deal.
The 24-year-old will leave as a free agent this summer unless he agrees to a contract extension.
Former Tottenham star and SKY Sports football pundit Tim Sherwood believes that Can will end up leaving the club.
Sherwood rates Can as a ‘big player’ and underlined Liverpool must find a replacement.
Additionally, he thinks the Reds are the closest side to challenging City in the Premier League.

“Liverpool are the closest team to be challenging Manchester City,” Sherwood told The Debate.
“Yes they lost Philippe Coutinho, which was a big blow, but they’ve coped without him. They look they will need to find a replacement for Emre Can, he’s a big player too, but they do have Naby Keita coming in the summer.”
Despite being linked with an exit Can has yet to confirm whether he will actually leave or end up staying.
The midfielder scored a career-high six goals against the Hammers over the weekend.
Can has a total of six goals and five assists in all competitions this season.
