Liverpool & Wolves Target Brazil International Set To Start In Top Of Table Super Lig Clash

The Istanbul derby between Besiktas and Fenerbahce on Thursday had to be abandoned after the chaos that ensued.

Turkish-Football reported that Wolves and Liverpool had scouts at the game keeping tabs on Anderson Talisca.

Both clubs have been closely linked with the Brazil international this season but they were in for a shock as Besiktas manager Senol Gunes ended up being taken to hospital after being struck on the head by an object thrown by a Fenerbahce fan.

Gunes spent the night in hospital with mild concussion after receiving five stitches to the head.

The former Turkish national team head coach will receive a heroes welcome by the Besiktas crowd today.

Expect a huge show of support for Gunes from the home fans.

Talisca is almost certain to start and has been in great form this season scoring 18 times and providing five assists.

Gunes has a full-strength side to pick from heading into the Malatyaspor clash at the Vodafone Park stadium.

The Black Eagles will close the gap with leaders Galatasaray to one point with a victory tonight.
