Liverpool youngster Samed Yeşil has arrived in Turkey on a flight from the German city of Dusseldorf.
Yeşil denied arriving in Istanbul for talks to hold direct talks with Fenerbahçe and asked reporters to speak to his agent as he would be leading any transfer talks.
“I am going to Bodrum next, I am in Turkey for a holiday, my agent deals with any transfer talks,” Yeşil was quoted as saying by the Sabah.
Fenerbahçe are reported to be in talks with Yeşil according to Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik and Trabzonspor have also been linked with the Liverpool forward in the past.
The Sabah report claims that negotiations with Fenerbahçe are already underway however, the club are yet to confirm the transfer speculation.
The 21-year-old recently recovered from a double cruciate ligament injury and has three goals for the U21 side since his return but did not make an appearance for the Reds first team this season.
Yeşil was born in Germany but his family are from the north eastern Black Sea province of Trabzon in Turkey. The young striker wears the 61 number shirt at Liverpool in honour of the postal code of the Trabzon region.
