Low Reveals How Important Arsenal Star Is To Germany Ahead Of Spain Clash

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil will start for Germany against Spain in the international friendly set to be played in Dusseldorf confirmed Joachim Low.

The Germany national team coach revealed confirmed that Ozil is one of five players who he has decided will get a spot in the starting line-up tomorrow.

Low actually said the team will be structure around Ozil, Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummel, Mueller and Kroos.

So it appears Ozil still has an important role to play in the Germany national side after helping lead his side to glory in the 2014 World Cup.

Low revealed: “I think tomorrow the structure will be around Jerome, Mats, Mueller, Kroos and Ozil who will start.

“I am not planning to play the same players in both matches. I want to try things out.”

Ozil has been in impressive form for Arsenal recently providing three assists in his last three games in all competitions.

The playmaker is one of three Turkey international players called up alongside Liverpool’s Emre Can and Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.

Can has been ruled out with a back injury while it is not certain whether Gundogan will feature in the friendly.

Germany will take on Brazil just a few days after the Spain clash.
