Malaga will try to sign Amrabat says Mario Husillos [divider]
Malaga will try to sign Galatasaray winger Nordin Amrabat on a permanent deal according to sporting director Mario Husillos.
“We have Amrabat on loan but he has really developed since joining,” Husillos said.
“We really want him to stay at the club and will try to sign him on a permanent deal.”
However, Galatasaray board member Abdurrahim Albayrak wants Amrabat to return to Istanbul.
“We have a number of players who are doing well abroad,” Albayrak said.
“When Amrabat arrived I gave him his number 53 shirt and when he returns I will give his 53 shirt back to him again.”
Amrabat joined Galatasaray from Kayserispor in July 2012 for €8.6 million and still has three-years remaining on his contract.
The 27-year-old winger has three assists and three goals in his last five league games and was named in Marca’s October La Liga Team of the Month.
Amrabat has continued his rich vein of form in international football and found the back of the net against Benin while on international duty with Morocco.
