Man City boss Pep Guardiola hints at changes ahead of semi-final clash

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed that he may make changes to his starting eleven tonight.

The Citizens face Championship side Bristol City in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg. The clash takes place at the Ashton Gate Stadium and kick-off 19:45 (GMT).

City come into the second leg with an advantage following a  2-1 victory a fortnight ago.

Speaking to reporters ahead of tonight’s game Guardiola stated, “Of course we are going to try to see the best team as possible but then Bernardo Silva, (Ilkay) Gundogan, (Eliaquim) Mangala will not be able to play and that will not be fair.

“I will say we are going to go there and try and win the game and go to the final.”

Back-up keeper Claudio Bravo is set to step back into the starting eleven while Ivory Coast legend Yaya Toure could also feature.

Guardiola may opt start Ilkay Gundogan after the Germany international was rested over the weekend.

Man City face Cardiff City in the FA Cup this weekend for hosting West Brom in the league next week.
