Galatasaray take on Konaspor in the Turkish Cup quarter-final second leg tie at the Turk Telekom Arena on Thursday.

The Lions drew the first-leg in Konya 2-2.

Fatih Terim will be without star defender Jason Denayer for the Konya game.

Terim has shown faith in the on-loan Manchester City defender, promoting him to a first-choice defender since replacing Igor Tudor.

The former Turkish national team manager also signed Denayer the last time he was in charge of the club.

The 22-year-old has started 12 of Galatasaray’s last 13 league games, the only match he missed was against Alanyaspor due to injury.

Denayer will however, be out for the next six weeks with a hamstring injury.

Galatasaray released a statement confirming he has torn his left hamstring.

The Lions are currently in the race for the Turkish Cup and the league title.

The Istanbul giants find themselves just two points behind league leaders Basaksehir.

Galatasaray have not lost against Konyaspor in their last 24 games in all competitions – 22 league games and two cup games.

The Lions will qualify for the semi-finals as long as they avoid defeat.
