Man City are back in action this weekend when they face Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final.

The Citizens will need to bounce back from a shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of Wigan in the FA Cup on Monday night. City’s dreams of pulling off a historic quadrupole went down in flames after Will Griggs capitalised on a defensive error to score the only goal on the night.

Man City team news:

Man City’s defeat to Wigan could prove to be a costly one. Fabian Delph will be ruled out after receiving a red card in the first half for a reckless challenge.

Meanwhile, Sergio Aguero and Pep Guardiola could potentially miss this weekend’s game due to events which took place after City’s shock FA Cup exit to Wigan.

After the final whistle, Man City striker Aguero was involved in a bust-up with a Wigan fan who invaded the pitch. The Argentina international appears to have pushed the supporter and then had to be restrained.

Meanwhile, manager Pep Guardiola was involved in an altercation with Wigan’s manager Paul Cook as the teams headed down the tunnel at half-time. Video footage also appeared to show Guardiola running at the referee Anthony Taylor.
