Manchester City pulled off the upset of the evening in the Champions League after beating Barcelona 3-1 at the Etihad.
City came from behind thanks to a brace from Germany international of Turkish origin – who has now scored a brace in his last two games.
Gundogan now has a total of five goals and three assists in all competitions for the Citizens this season.
City closed the gap with Group C leaders Barcelona to just two points following the win.
We took a look at how City fans reacted to Gundogan’s display on social media following the victory.

There were quite a few Gundogan v Paul Pogba comparisons after the game and right now the Germany international of Turkish origin is clearly doing better.

I think they all that a backhanded compliment!
Gundogan is playing quite well for someone whose spine is made of fish fingers sellotaped together

Now that’s a stat!
Gündogan becomes first player to score multiple goals against FC Barcelona in a #UCL group stage match since Dec 2008 (Gladkyy for Shakthar)

It was a brilliant night for the boys from Gelsenkirchen. Mesut Ozil and Gundogan both scored for their respective sides.
English football doesn't deserve Gundogan!!!

We even got a late Halloween joke!
