Man City probable lineup verses Arsenal on Thursday, Brazil international set for return after two-months out

Manchester City will be hoping to record their second win over Arsenal in the space of a week when they travel down to London on Thursday.

The clash takes place at the Emirates while kick-off is schedued for 19:45 (GMT).

Pep Guardiola will have several decisions to make regarding his starting eleven on Thursday. With Fernandihno sidelined, the tactician may opt to play Ilkay Gundogan in a defensive midfielder role. Fabien Delph could also replace Fernandihno after returning from a red-card suspension.

Guardiola will also have a decision to make in defence. Both Kompany and Otamendi helped shut Arsenal out over the weekend and are fit for this week’s encounter. The former Barcelona boss could, however, choose to revert to a back-three with John Stones and Laporte in the back-line.

Star striker Gabriel Jesus could come into contention after recovering from a knee injury which kept him out for over two months.
