Man City reveal squad ahead of Liverpool clash at Anfield – Star midfield playmaker makes the cut

Manchester City will be looking to extend their impressive run of form when they take on Liverpool in the Premier League.

Pep Guardiola’s side are unbeaten in the Premier League this season and sit in pole position with 62 points after 22 games. City can extend the point gap between themselves and second-placed Man United to 18 points with a win tonight.

The Citizens defeated Watford FC by a 3-1 scoreline in their last game and have won four of their last five Premier League fixtures.

Germany international Ilkay Gundogan has cemented his place in the squad as a first-team regular in recent weeks and has been included in Pep Guardiola’s provisional squad.

The 26-year-old recently recovered from a serious knee injury which kept him out of first-team football for close to 11 months.
