Man City Reveal Squad Ahead Of Swansea Game: Star Man Undergoes Surgery

Manchester City take on Swansea City at the Etihad on Sunday in their first home game since being crowned Premier League champions.

City will be without top scorer Sergio Aguero who underwent minor knee surgery earlier this week and will be out for the rest of the season.

Citizens manager Pep Guardiola will also be without Fernandinho who serves the second match of a two-game ban.

Centre-back John Stones is an out with an adductor problem while left-back Benjamin Mendy is also out with a knee injury but nearing a return.

Midfielder of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan is match fit and has made the squad for the title holders.

Guardiola has otherwise picked a strong squad despite having already won the league.

City have won all six of their home league games against Swansea.

To make matters worse for the visitors the Swans have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last nine Premier League games against City conceding a total of 24 goals during that time.
