Man City set to make move to Turkey international wonder-kid

Manchester City are planning a move for 15-year-old Altinordu goalkeeper Berk Ozer according to club president Seyit Mehmet Ozkan.

Ozkan told Turkish newspaper Milliyet: “Manchester City and a few German sides want Berke Ozer.”

Talk Sport reported two months ago that City were been keeping tabs on the youngster with the view of the young goalkeeper as a potential long-term replacement for Joe Hart.

The young keeper is already 1.90m tall and weighs in at 74 kg despite being 15-year-old.

Altınordu have introduced a policy of only playing club grown footballers with the goal of  building a side made up fully of players developed by the club.

City have been closely linked with Altinordu youngsters this season and were scouting Çağlar Söyüncu a source close to the player told Turkish-Football.com prior to his move to Freiburg.

The Premier League outfit also signed Enes Unal from Bursaspor last season on a four-year deal before loaning out the 19-year-old to Genk following by NAC Breda in January.
