Man City Squad Ahead Of Champions League Hoffenheim Clash Revealed – Pep Given Injury Boost, Gundogan Selected

Manchester City take on Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim in the Champions League on Tuesday for Match Day 2.

City boss Pep Guardiola was given a major injury boost after Sergio Aguero was passed fit to travel with the squad that flew to Germany.

Aguero was a doubt after playing through a foot injury in recent games.

Midfielder of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan has made the squad and will be match fit after being rested against Brighton on Saturday.

Gundogan has one goal and two assists in all competitions this season.

Benjamin Mendy and Fabian Delph have not been included in the traveling squad.

Danilo was a new addition to the Champions League setup after making his return from injury against Oxford last week.

City will be hoping to bounce back from a Match Day 1 defeat against Lyon a fortnight ago.

The Premier League title holders are currently last in Group F.
