Besiktas crushed Antalyaspor 6-2 on the road in the Super Lig on Sunday.

Shinji Kagawa had a pretty impressive debut scoring 19 seconds after being brought on as a substitute on 81 minutes with a shot from outside the penalty area.

The 29-year-old did not stop there and went onto score with his second shot, doubling his side’s tally with a free-kick from 30 yards.

Kagawa’s former Borussia Dortmund teammate Ilkay Gundogan was full of praise afterward sending the following tweet.

It appears the two remain friends.

Kagawa helped Dortmund win the German league and cup double in 2012 along with Gundogan.

The Dortmund loanee ended up becoming the first Japan international to find the back of the net in the Super Lig and play for Besiktas.

Kagawa also became the first debutant to score twice with his first two shots on target inside the first three minutes of being introduced to a game.
