Manchester City may have almost wrapped up the Premier League title but Ilkay Gundogan urged his side not to get too carried away.
The midfielder of Turkish origin underlined that they have taken a huge step towards their goal but that nothing has been achieved yet.
The most important part of the season is only just beginning according to the 27-year-old.
He is correct, the race is not over until you pass the finish line.
City are in the Champions League quarter-finals and first in the league. The Citizens would win the triple if they go onto lift both titles but there is still a long way to go.
Gundogan shared his message on Twitter after the Citizens most recent victory over Stoke City.
The midfielder is currently with the rest of the squad in Abu Dhabi on a warm-weather training break.
