Manchester City defender Jason Denayer has been dealt a cruel injury blow.
The Belgium international is currently on loan at Galatasaray until the end of the season.
Denayer regained his place in Galatasaray’s starting eleven following the appointment of Fatih Terim and has been one of the Istanbul giant’s best performers in recent weeks.
Unfortunately for Denayer, he pulled up during Galatasaray’s defeat at the hands of Sivasspor last week and was forced off with a hamstring injury.
Galatasaray confirmed the extent of Denayer’s injury on their official website. The versatile defender is expected to be sidelined for around two months.

Denayer is expected to leave Man City in the summer after failing to find a place in manager Pep Guardiola’s plans. Furthermore, the Citizens signed defender Aymeric Laporte from Atletico Bilbao over the January transfer window.
The news will also come as a blow to Belgium national team manager Roberto Martinez with the World Cup coming up this summer.
