Man City team news: Guardiola receives massive injury boost ahead of Leicester clash

Manchester City take on the reigning Premier League champions Leicester City on Saturday.

The Citizens sit in fourth place, just three points ahead of fifth placed Arsenal. Pep Guardiola’s side know a defeat could cost them a UEFA Champions League place.

City recorded a comfortable 5-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend.

Leicester meanwhile moved up into ninth place following a 3-0 victory over Watford FC.

The Foxes came close to being dragged into a relegation battle however, Craig Shakespeare has steadied the ship since his appointment.

Man City injury news:

Manager Pep Guardiola has received a massive boost with the news of Kun Aguero’s return to training (Goal).

Aguero missed the clash with Palace due to a groin injury he picked up against Middlesbrough last month.

England international John Stones is also back in training and is available for selection.

Ilkay Gundogan misses the game due to a knee injury he suffered last December. First choice keeper Claudio Bravo also misses out with a calf injury.
