Man City team news: Pep Guardiola facing injury worries ahead of Tottenham clash

Manchester City will be looking to maintain their unbeaten run in the Premier League this weekend when they take on Tottenham.

The clash takes place at the Etihad stadium on Saturday while kick-off is scheduled for 17:30 (GMT).

Pep Guardiola’s side have registered 16 league victories so far this season and have racked up an 11 point lead over their rivals Man United who sit in second place.

Tottenham meanwhile put an end to a barren spell on Wednesday night following a comfortable win over Brighton.

Pep Guardiola is facing injury worries in defence going into this weekend’s clash. The Spanish tactician will be unable to call upon John Stones who is still out with a hamstring injury.

Vincent Kompany meanwhile is also expected to miss this weekend’s clash.

Germany international playmaker Ilkay Gundogan is expected to be included in City’s squad once again. The 26-year-old has become a regular feature in Guardiola’s side after recovering from a long-term injury.
