Man City team news:
Star winger Leroy Sane could be back in action tonight in the Champions League. The Germany international has been sidelined for the past fortnight following a dangerous tackle during City’s win over Cardiff.
Sane has travelled with the squad to Switzerland and will face a late fitness test.
Midfield playmaker Ilkay Gundogan is available for selection but may be rested after playing 90 minutes over the weekend.
Star striker Gabriel Jesus is ruled out with an injury as is Benjamin Mendy and Fabian Delph.
Pep Guardiola also stated that he would ideally like to rest Sergio Aguero tonight but may not be able to due to squad constraints.
“I would like to rest Sergio Aguero but he’s the only striker we have. He is making a huge effort and doing really well,” Guardiola stated at the pre-game press conference.
“But Gabriel Jesus is coming back soon – maybe 10 days, two weeks.”
