Man City transfer news: Jason Denayer attracts attention of Turkish giants
Turkish Super League runners up Istanbul Basaksehir have set their sights on signing Man City’s Jason Denayer.
A source close to the club has revealed to Turkish-Football that Basaksehir are keen to strengthen their defence ahead of their European campaign.
Per the source, Denayer is at the top of Basaksehir’s transfer shortlist and are preparing a loan move for the Belgium international.

Denayer is expected to leave Man City after failing to break into Pep Guardiola’s first team squad.
The 22-year-old is no stranger to the Turkish Super League.
Denayer spent the 2015-16 season on loan at Galatasaray. The Belgium international spent an unsuccessful 12 months at Sunderland last term.
Basaksehir were last season’s surprise package after finishing the season in second place. Abdullah Avci’s side will participate in the UEFA Champions League this season.
The Istanbul based club have already signed former Man City star Gaël Clichy earlier this summer. Adebayor – who also played for Man City previously – joined Basaksehir earlier this year.
Denayer made 24 Premier League apperances for Sunderland last season.
