Man City transfer news: Belgium international Jason Denayer subject to bid from Euro giants

Galatasaray have tabled a bid for Manchester City’s young defender Jason Denayer.

The 22-year-old looks set to leave the Etihad this summer after failing to break into Pep Guardiola’s squad. The Spanish tactician sent Denayer out on loan to Sunderland last season.

A source close to Galatasaray has revealed to Turkish-Football that the Lions have tabled an offer for the Belgium international. Galatasaray have offered a £3 million transfer fee with £1 million worth of add-ons which depend on the player’s and club’s success.

The Istanbul Giants have already agreed personal terms with Denayer. The young-defender is keen on a return to the Turkish Super League.

Denayer spent a season on loan at Galatasaray during the 2015-16 season. The Belgium international quickly established himself as a fan favourite and has been linked with a return ever since.

The 22-year-old was unable to help Sunderland avert relegation last term. Denayer made 24 Premier League appearances for the Black Cats.
