Man City transfer news: Wonderkid striker rejects move to Turkey

Man City wonder-kid Enes Unal has poured cold water on reports linking him with a return to Turkey.

Unal has been lighting up the Eredivisie since his loan move to FC Twente at the beginning of the season. The 19-year-old now has scored 13 league goals so far this term.

The former Burasaspor striker’s agent Batur Altiparmak has stated that no offer from Turkey has been made for his client. Altiparmak also stated that Unal will not be returning to Turkey and that his future is in Europe.

“We have not received an offer from Turkey for Unal,” Altiparmak told Turkish-Football.

“Unal will not be returning to Turkey. He will continue his future in Europe.”

Unal made the move to Man City from Bursaspor for £2 million back in 2015.

The Turkey international was already a youth sensation before making a move to the Premier League giants.

Unal became Turkey’s youngest ever goal scorer when he scored for Bursaspor against Galatasaray in 2013 aged just 16.

Man City travel to London this weekend to take on Arsenal.
