Manchester City will be hoping to extend their winning run when they take on the reigning Premier League champions Chelsea tonight.

The clash takes places at the Etihad stadium while kick-off is schedued for 16:00 (GMT).

Pep Guardiola’s side responded well to their shock 1-0 defeat to Wigan in the FA Cup by bouncing back with back to back wins over Arsenal.

The Citizens lifted the Carabao Cup last weekend and could even lift the Premier League title in early April if they keep up their impressive form.

Star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has been a key member of Guardiola’s starting eleven in recent weeks and is available for selection today.

City could, however, be without key defensive midfielder  Fernandinho who is nursing a thigh injury. Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker are also injury doubts going into the game.

Chelsea come into today’s fixture with just one win in their last four Premier League games and know a defeat will leave them five points off the top-four.
