Man City v Everton – Team news – £45m summer signing in-line to start while Guardiola to make decision regarding Gundogan fitness

Ilkay Gundogan is in contention for a place in the squad after featuring for City during the week against Girona. The Germany international is however unlikely to start. Gundogan has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury since December.
Summer signing Benjamin Mendy is expected to miss the game due to a thigh injury.
Everton team news:
£45 million summer signing Gylfi Sigurdsson is expected to be included in the match-day squad. However, Everton boss Ronald Koeman will be unable to call upon Ross Barkley and James McCarthy due to injury.
