Man City v FC Basel – Confirmed Line Ups: Guardiola Makes 6 Changes

Manchester City will be looking to secure their place in the Quarterfinals when they take on FC Basel in the UEFA Champions League tonight.

The Citizens already have one foot in the next round following their 4-0 victory over Basel in the first leg.

City have recorded four wins in a row, including back-to-back wins over Arsenal and a 1-0 win against Chelsea.

FC Basel comes into tonight’s clash in poor form. The Swiss giants have lost their last three games and were defeated 2-0 by Young Boys in their last game.

The four-goal advantage has allowed Citizens boss Pep Guardiola to make changes to the starting eleven.

City make six changes for this evening’s Champions League Round of 16 second leg tie with FC Basel.

Yaya Toure will captain the side with John Stones, Gabriel Jesus, Phil Foden, Danilo and Claudio Bravo all recalled.

David Silva and Vincent Kompany are rested and not in the squad.

Midfielder of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan will keep his place in midfield after his impressive showing in the first-leg.

Man City will also have one eye on this weekends encounter with Stoke City in the Premier League.
