Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim has set his sights on re-signing Manchester City defender Jason Denayer.

Denayer joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Man City at the beginning of the season.

The Belgium international cemented his place as a first-team regular after the appointment of Fatih Terim as manager. Denayer played a major role in Galatasaray’s title win this term.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Denayer wants to re-sign Denayer on loan for another season. The 22-year-old is unlikely to feature for Man City after failing to impress manager Pep Guardiola last summer.

Per the source, Galatasaray also want to sign Inter Milan left-back Yuto Nagatomo during the upcoming transfer window.

Denayer has been omitted from Roberto Martinez’s Belgium squad which will travel to the 2018 World Cup in Russia this summer. The versatile defender made 22 Turkish Super Lappearancesces for Galatasaray this season and provided one assist.

Galatasaray lifted the league title after defeating Goztepe by a 1-0 scoreline on Sunday.
