Man United & Arsenal target prepared to dig heels in at Barcelona despite being dropped from squad
Arda Turan is prepared to star at Barcelona even if they receive no playing time.
The Turkey international has been closely linked with a move away from the club after falling out of favour with manager Ernesto Valverde.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, Turan is reluctant to leave Barca and will not accept a cut in his wages. Furthermore, Turan is prepared to sit on the sidelines rather than accept a cut-price move away from the club.
Meanwhile, the Spanish outlet Sport state that Barcelona are desperate to offload Turan this summer and are even willing to let the Turkey international leave for free.
Premier League duo Liverpool and Arsenal have both been linked with a move for Turan by the Sun. Meanwhile, AS claim that United manager Jose Mourinho is also keen on signing Turan. AS goes onto state that the Portuguese tactician has held talks with the 30-year-old.
Turan joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid for a lofty £24 million back in July 2015.
