Manchester United contract rebel Marouane Fellaini has been closely linked with an Old Trafford exit this summer.

Fellaini has just a few months remaining on his contract but has yet to sign an extension.

United head coach Jose Mourinho publically stated that he wanted the Belgium international to stay on beyond the end of the season but now appears to be growing fed up.

Mourinho has included Fellaini among the six players he wants rid of over the summer – despite previously wanting him to stay.

The Manchester Evening News listed Michael Carrick, Matteo Darmian, Andreas Pereira, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marouane Fellaini as being on the exit list.

Per the source, Mourinho has already informed executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward regarding his plans and who he hopes to replace the players with.

Fellaini has had no shortage of interest from Turkey with Turkish-Football reporting that Galatasaray and Besiktas have both held talks with his representatives.

It now turns out that Fenerbahce have also joined the race for the powerful midfielder.

The Yellow Canaries have offered the powerful midfielder a four-year deal and a €4 million sign-on fee according to Ajansspor.

The Istanbul giants offer will however, be subject to the upcoming presidential elections.

Current president Aziz Yildirim is running against billionaire business tycoon Ali Koc.

Should Koc take over Fenerbahce could target alternative names.

Fellaini has four goals and one assist in all competitions for the Red Devils this season.
