Manchester United have reportedly entered talks with Galatasaray over 18-year-old defender Ozan Kabak according to the Aksam newspaper.

Per the source, the Red Devils met with representatives from the Turkish club to seal a move for the young defender.

United could face competition from Manchester City who reportedly held talks with Galatasaray president Mustafa Cengiz.

Additionally, Arsenal are also reported to be interested in the rising star.

The Lions value their rising star as being worth £20m but are growing worried about his contract situation.

Kabak has just over a year remaining on his contract but has yet to sign an extension.

Turkish-Football first reported United keeping tabs on Kabak back in October.

The 18-year-old defender has been in impressive form since breaking into the Galatasaray team.

The young defender has established himself as a first-team star in the Galatasaray defence despite his young age.

The centre-back was widely praised for his form in the Champions League, making four starts for the Lions who finished the group stage in third, booking a place in the Europa League Round of 32.

Kabak has made 16 appearances in all competitions for the Istanbul based outfit this season.
