Man United face competition for Arsenal star who could be available on a free transfer
Manchester United have been closely linked with a move for Arsenal star Mesut Ozil.
The playmaker of Turkish origin could be available on a free transfer next summer if Arsenal do not extend his contract.
Ozil has under 12 months remaining on his current deal and has yet to strike a new agreement.
United could however, face competition from Super Lig giants Fenerbahce according to Fanatik.

The Yellow Canaries are long term admirers of Ozil and have built up close ties with the 28-year-old over recent years.
The Gunners playmaker has made no secret of the fact he grew up supporting Fenerbahce and that he would consider playing for the Istanbul giants one day.
Ozil told the Sabah last July: “In the future I want to wear a Fenerbahce shirt. It would be an honour. Everyone knows I am a Fenerbahce fan.”
Per the source, Fenerbahce would have to stump up €5.7 million per-season to attract Ozil.
Robin van Persie is currently paid a similar fee and will be out of contract at the end of the season.
The report also claims that Ozil’s girlfriend Amine Gulse – former Miss Turkey – wants to live in Istanbul but that the Arsenal star is currently keen on staying in London.
Ozil is a bi-lingual Turkish-German speaker and regularly visits Turkey were he is a popular celebrity often appearing on television shows.
