Manchester United held talks with Galatasaray president Mustafa Cengiz over the transfer of Ozan Kabak in England according to the Aksam newspaper.

Per the source, Cengiz traveled to England for talks with Manchester City over a venture between the two clubs.

Following his meeting with executives, Cengiz met with United officials over the future of Kabak.

The Red Devils are reportedly interested in the 18-year-old defender who has established himself as a first-team star for Galatasaray.

The Lions value their rising star as being worth £20m.

The reigning Super Lig champions plan to sell Kabak and reinvest in two new forwards.

Kabak has just one-and-a-half year remaining on his current contract but has yet to sign an extension deal.

The young defender has started the last 14 games in all competitions for the Super Lig side this term.

Kabak started four successive Champions League games in the Galatasaray defence from Match Day 2 onwards.

The rising star rose through the Galatasaray academy before being drafted into the senior team following an injury crisis in defence.

Kabak has started every game since breaking into the first-team after earning the trust of head coach Fatih Terim.
