Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is reportedly unhappy with his lack of playing time and is considering a move to rivals Galatasaray according to Fotomac.

Bayindir, who joined United from Fenerbahce in the summer, has yet to make a first-team appearance for the club and is reportedly frustrated with being behind Andre Onana in the pecking order.

Galatasaray, who are looking for a new goalkeeper, have emerged as a potential destination for Bayindir, despite his past with their rivals Fenerbahce.

A move to the Red-Yellows would be very controversial considering Bayindir was first choice keeper at Fenerbahce before moving to united.

Galatasaray’s current goalkeeper, Fernando Muslera, is out of contract at the end of the season and the club are reportedly considering their options.

If Bayindir does make the move to Galatasaray, it would be a surprising turn of events, given his history with Fenerbahce.

However, the 25-year-old is said to be open to the move and is keen to get more playing time.

United will be looking for a new backup goalkeeper if Bayindir leaves, with the role having been something of a revolving door in recent years.

December and January could be critical as Bayindir could end up breaking into the United team with Andre Onana out of form and expected to join Cameroon for the Africa Cup of Nations.
