Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is likely to leave Old Trafford this summer as he is approaching the end of his contract without an extension deal in sight.

Much to the dismay of many Arsenal fans it appears the Belgium international could be on his way to the Emirates.

According to Foot 365, Arsenal are set to meet with the player’s representatives this week about joining the club on a free transfer from the start of July.

RMC Sport meanwhile claims Fellaini only has two concrete offers, one from Besiktas and the other from China.

Reports of Besiktas interest are nothing new.

Turkish-Football reported that the Black Eagles met with Fellaini’s representatives as far back as December.

The Istanbul giants are willing to offer €5m per-year on a long-term deal with assurances of first-team football.

Besiktas finished last season in fourth-place and will compete in the Europa League next season.

The Eagles did however, win the league title over the previous two seasons.

They failed to defend the Super Lig this term but did cruise through the Champions League group stage as undefeated leaders.
