Man United News: Besiktas President Responds To Reports Linking Anderson Talisca With Old Trafford Move

Manchester United have been closely linked with a move for Anderson Talisca.

Talisca played his last game for Besiktas last Saturday, scoring and providing three assists in the 5-1 victory over Sivasspor in the final match of the season.

Besiktas president Fikret Orman had his say on the latest transfer speculation.

Orman did not reveal a lot, in fact he was pretty ambiguous so make of this what you will.

“Talisca to Manchester United? these are the rumours,” Orman said.

Meanwhile, following the game, Besiktas manager revealed that Talisca will be leaving, hinted at a Premier League move and ruled out a Wolves transfer.

Talisca was already gone at the winter break, I can’t tell you which club he joined but they could play against Cenk’s team,” Gunes said.

When asked if the Premier League side Talisca will be joining is Wolves Gunes responded: “Look higher.”

This was followed by Portuguese newspaper A Bola claiming United had bid £35 million and were nearing a deal.

It is worth pointing out similar claims were made in the Portuguese press a few weeks back.

Talisca finished the season scoring 20 times and providing eight assists for Besiktas.

The Black Eagles cruised through the Champions League group stage as undefeated leaders.

The Brazilian also played an important role in the Istanbul giants lifting the league title last season.
