Man United news: Wolfsburg scout 19-year-old target who Red Devils sent club official for on Saturday
Wolfsburg have become the latest club to join the race for Basaksehir wonder-kid Cengiz Under.
Turkish outlet Fanatik report that the Bundesliga outfit sent a scout to the Turkish Cup semi-final clash between Basaksehir and Fenerbahce to keep tabs on Under.
The 19-year-old starred in the Istanbul minnows eliminating the Yellow Canaries on home turf in a dramatic 26-penalty shoot out.
Under has been in great form since joining Basaksehir on a £700,000 transfer from second-tier side Altinordu.
The Turkish international has also attracted interest from Premier League giants Manchester United.
The Red Devils Eastern European region chief scout Krsto Kilibarda to Basaksehir’s game against Genclerbirligi on Saturday to monitor the rising star.
Turkish-Football have reported United interest for months. The Red Devils have been tracking Under’s development throughout the season.

Under has a total of nine goals and seven assists in all competitions Basaksehir who are challenging for the double this season against all the odds.
Basaksehir president Goksel Gumusdag has made no secret of growing interest in the 19-year-old.
Gumusdag himself stated that Premier League and La Liga scouts monitored Under during the 3-1 victory over Besiktas.
“There were scouts from Premier League scouts and La Liga teams at the Besiktas derby,” Gumusdag was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.
“I will reveal the details at the end of the season as I do not want to distract the team.
“We do not want to sell Under but will discuss this once the season is over.”
