Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has once gain been linked with a sensational move to Manchester United.
The 29-year-old was previously linked with the Red Devils prior to penning a mega-money three-year deal with Arsenal back in January.
Ozil has been linked with a move away from Arsenal following reports of a rift between himself and Unai Emery.
According to the bookies, Manchester United are now odds-on favourites to join the Premier League giants.
Ozil missed Arsenal’s win over Tottenham and their 2-2 draw with Man United with a back injury. The 30-year-old is also a doubt for this weekends clash with Huddersfiled.
The only other Premier League side rivaling Man United for Ozil is Manchester City (7/1).
“It looks like Ozil is going to be on the move in January and we are seeing one-way traffic for Manchester United to capture the out of favour midfielder from Arsenal.” Coral’s John Hill told The Sun.
Ozil previously played under United boss Jose Mourinho during his spell at Real Madrid. However, it is unclear whether Mourinho’s long-term future at Old Trafford is secure.
United previously signed Alexis Sanchez from the Gunners at the beginning of the year.
United have failed to win their last four league games, scoring just five goals in this poor run.
