Man United Receive Savic Boost As Agent Confirms Everton & Newcastle Interest In Turkey International

Besiktas star Oguzhan Ozyakup continues to be linked with a summer exit as his contract saga drags on.

Ozyakup has just a few months remaining on his current contract but has yet to sign an extension deal.

The Turkey international will be a free agent at the end of the season unless he signs a new deal.

Ozyakup’s agent company SEG opened up about his future according to reports in Italy.

The latest comments will come as a boost for Manchester United’s efforts to sign Lazio midfielder Sergey Milinkovic-Savic as the agent hints he could be leaving according to the Mirror.

Additionally Everton and Newcastle interest is also reportedly confirmed.

The 25-year-old’s agent company SEG reportedly said: “I can confirm that Lazio, Marseille, Everton, Milan and Valencia are all observing and are interested in Oguzhan,” Ozyakup’s agency confirmed.

“He would be the perfect addition to Lazio’s side, given the possibility that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will be leaving the club in the summer, and given the age of both Lucas Leiva and Marco Parolo.”

This is where things got a bit murky. The Mirror quote 101greatgoals who in turn used the Laziali as their source.

Football-Italia meanwhile published similar quotes but added that a decision would be made in a fortnight but use the Liverpool Echo and Tuttomercatoweb as their source. We have not been able to find the quotes on the Echo.

Ozyakup is represented by SEG and his agent is Kees Vos, we will be speaking to him later to get to the bottom of this.

What I do know is that Kees Vos had a meeting with Besiktas over the future of Ozyakup a few days ago so the latest developments could have something to do with that.

Turkish-Football did report just last week that Everton and Newcastle have been scouting the Besiktas star.

Ozyakup started in the the Black Eagles 1-0 win over Alanyaspor over the weekend, providing Anderson Talisca with the assist for the winning goal.
