Man United Reveal Squad Ahead Of Newcastle Clash – Mourinho Missing Four Players, Fenerbahce Target Makes Squad

Manchester United take on Newcastle United hoping to keep a slim chance of catching league leaders – and rivals – Manchester City.

The Red Devils are 16 points behind the Citizens in the title race.

Jose Mourinho’s side is however, still competing in two cup competitions and take on Sevilla next week in the Champions League Last 16.

Mourinho will be hoping to use the league games to build up a run of form and get Alexis Sanchez to settle in.

As expected Sanchez has been included in the squad.

As has Fenerbahce target Luke Shaw.

A source close to Fenerbahce revealed to Turkish-Football that Shaw, Daley Blind and Marouane Fellaini are on their shortlist.

The Yellow Canaries are interested in an end of season move for the England international after failing to sign him in January.

The Istanbul giants could find it even more difficult to sign Shaw if he commits to the new contract deal what Mourinho has been alluring to.

Mourinho stated ahead of the Newcastle game: “He’s a few months free of these minor injuries that sometimes stop evolution and I’m really happy, so I think the natural consequence of it is that he will have his contract and he will be a Manchester United player for years.”

Fenerbahce could have more luck trying to sign Daley Blind who is also a target.

Blind’s future at United is less certain as is Fellaini’s who has just a few months remaining on his current contract.

Blind and Fellaini are both out injured against Newcastle as is Eric Baily and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
