Man United Star Could Join Euro Giants In End Of Season Move After Being Made Transfer Priority

Daley Blind Man City v Man United

Fenerbahce have stepped up interest in Manchester United left-back Daley Blind according to reports in Turkey.

The Aksam newspaper report that the Yellow Canaries want Blind on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

The Netherlands international will be a free agent at the end of the season unless he signs a contract extension.

Fenerbahce are able to enter direct talks with Blind as he has under six-months remaining on his contract.

The Istanbul giants do not want to pay a fee for the full-back in January and are prepared to wait until the end of the season to sign him for free.

Blind will consider his options at the end of the season according to ESPN FC.

The 27-year-old has not started a Premier League game since August and has falled behind Ashley Young as well as Luke Shaw in the pecking order at left-back.

The Dutch ace has been given playing time in cup competitions and started in the 2-0 win over Derby County last Friday playing as a centre-back.

United do have the option to trigger a one-year option in Blind’s contract that would keep him at the club until 2019 but it remains to be seen whether Mourinho has future plans for the full-back.
