Manchester United star Marouane Fellaini continues to be linked with a summer exit as his contract dwindles down.

Fellaini has just a few months remaining on his current deal and will become a free agent at the end of the season unless he signs an extension.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho did previously want the Belgium international to stay on at the club but now appears resigned to him leaving.

The Manchester Evening News expects Fellaini ‘to depart’ this summer along with Michael Carrick.

Per the source, Arturo Vidal, Marco Verratti, Jean-Michael Seri, Fred, Jorginho and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic have been named as potential replacements.

The latest report will serve as a boost for Turkish giants Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas.

Fenerbache became the latest Super Lig outfit to enter the race for Fellaini after submitting an offer with a €4 million sign on fee on a four-year deal according to the Aksam newspaper.

Turkish-Football reported that Besiktas and Galatasaray holding talks with the 30-year-old’s representatives throughout the season.

The Black Eagles have cooled interest recently while Galatasaray have ramped up efforts holding several rounds of talks.

The Lions did come close to signing Fellaini over the summer but Mourinho pulled the plug on the deal.

“It’s easier for Galatasaray to get me than to get Maroaune,” Mourinho said.

“Forget it. He’s too important to me.”
