Man United Star Edging Closer To Shock Liverpool Move, Turkish Giants Also In Talks

Liverpool are edging closer to snapping up Manchester United star Maroune Fellaini according to the latest reports.

Reds interest was first reported a few weeks ago before being denied.

Things do however, seem to have moved on since then, with Transfermarketweb, the Express and the Daily Star reporting it.

Jurgen Klopp appears to be keen on Fellaini who would offer something a little different to his other options in midfield.

The Reds are reported to be leading the race for the Belgium international.

The 30-year-old is seen as a potential replacement to strengthen the midfield if Emre Can does end up leaving.

The midfielder of Turkish origin has just a few months left on his contract like Fellaini and has yet to sign a contract extension.

Fellaini will also be a free agent at the end of the season unless he signs a new deal.

The Belgium midfielder reportedly feels under-appreciated at Old Trafford – and Klopp sees him as something different to his other midfield options.

The reports also claim AS Monaco, PSG, Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and AS Roma are all keen on Fellaini.

Turkish-Football have reported Galatasaray as holding talks with Fellaini’s representatives throughout the season.

The Lions have made Fellaini a transfer priority but how much they are willing to pay the powerful midfielder will be determined by their league finish.

The Istanbul giants are currently first in the Super Lig but just three points separate first from fourth.
