Besiktas president Fikret Orman and the club transfer committee director Umut Guner traveled to London on Thursday.
A source close to Besiktas revealed to Turkish-Football that transfer talks are behind the purpose of the trip.
The duo are set for talks with Marouane Fellaini’s representatives over a potential summer move.
The Black Eagles are also considering what to do about Anderson Talisca. The Brazil international is approaching the end of this second season on loan at the club.
Besiktas are able to sign Talisca for €21 million before the end of the season as a result of a clause in the contract.

Besiktas are exploring the possibility of replacing the 1.91m tall attacking midfielder with a cheaper alternative.
Fellaini has long been on the reigning champions radar and with the end of the season approaching talks are expected to intensify.
The Belgium international will be a free transfer at the end of the season and has yet to extend his contract with Manchester United.
As things stand the 30-year-old will be leaving Old Trafford as a free agent. Fellaini has five goals and one assist in all competitions for United this season.
Besiktas would be prepared to offer Fellaini a three to four-year deal on a lucrative salary with assurances of being a first-team player.
The Eagles are currently fourth in the Super Lig but could still finish the league as champions as they are just four points behind league leaders Galatasaray.
Besiktas would have to finish in the top-two to secure Champions League football next season, otherwise they will compete in the Europa League.
