Manchester United starlet Andreas Pereira has been made a transfer priority by Fenerbahce according to reports in Turkey.

Fanatik claim that recently appointed sporting director Damien Comolli is keen on the 22-year-old and initial talks have began.

The Yellow Canaries have shifted transfer policy since Ali Koc was elected club president a fortnight ago to focus on young talents as opposed to experienced players, as was the case before.

Andreas Pereira confirmed he has returned to United following a loan spell at Valencia on his social media channels.

“I arrived at Valencia with the aim of helping the club reach the place it belongs and together we have achieved our aim,” he wrote.

“Today, I returned to Manchester United, but I will carry this emblem and the fans always in my heart. Thanks to everyone.”

The Brazilian joined the La Liga outfit on a season-long deal on deadline day last summer and helped Los Che qualify for their first Champions League campaign since 2015.

Pereira made 29 appearances at Valencia playing on the wing as opposed to the deep-lying central role Jose Mourinho had him deployed.

Fenerbahce want the rising star on a loan deal next season but it remains to be seen what plans Mourinho has for his future.

The Yellow Canaries finished last season as runners-up in the Super Lig and will compete in the Champions League next season.
