Manchester United have suffered a blow in their attempt to keep star midfielder Marouane Fellaini at the club beyond the end of the season.
United boss Jose Mourinho has made it clear he wants to keep Fellaini on at the club but the Belgium international has yet to sign a new contract deal.
Fellaini will be a free agent at the end of the season unless he signs an extension.
Turkish-Football have reported that Besiktas want Fellaini on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The latest reports from Turkey claim the Black Eagles have held another round of talks with Fellaini’s agent Karim Mejjati according to Fotomac.

The Black Eagles will take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League Last 16 after becoming the first Turkish side to make it out of the group stage as leaders.
The Istanbul giants have won the league title for the past two seasons and are currently just six points behind leaders Basaksehir.
Mourinho recently admitted he fears Fellaini could end up leaving at the end of the season.
“It’s a very important player for me and is a great professional that is giving everything he can to help the team and there is a desire from myself, the board and the player to stay together,” Mourinho said at his Tottenham pre-match press conference last week.
“That’s our objective. Are we going to reach, to agree?
“I don’t know but what I know is that myself, the board and the player we would like to have a happy year.”
Fellaini is currently out of action after undergoing a knee operation. The Belgium international is expected to miss the next 6-8 weeks on the sidelines.
