Manchester United have suffered two more injuries, with Christian Eriksen out for a month and Rasmus Hojlund a doubt for the games against Everton and Galatasaray according to the Independent.

Eriksen and Hojlund both picked up injuries in Saturday’s win over Luton and have been withdrawn from the Denmark squad.

These injuries add to United’s already long injury list, making it a difficult time for the team.

United hope Hojlund will be back before the end of November, but he is unlikely to be fit for the games against Everton and Galatasaray, which could put United’s Champions League campaign at risk.

Galatasaray are currently one point ahead of United in the Champions League Group A and won the first encounter by a 3-2 scoreline at Old Trafford.

The two sides meet again on match day 5 in Istanbul in a clash that could determine who books a place in the next round.

Hojlund is the joint top scorer in the Champions League, but he has yet to score in the Premier League.

Eriksen is also likely to miss several games as well including the Galatasaray game.

Eriksen’s injury comes at a time when Ten Hag is already without his other most experienced central midfielder, Casemiro, who is unlikely to return before 2024.

In addition to Casemiro, United are also without Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans, and Tyrell Malacia due to injury. Jadon Sancho has also been omitted from the squad for the last two months.

Galatasaray face no major injury concerns as things stand. United face Galatasaray in Turkiye on Tuesday 29 November.
