Scouts from the Premier League giants have been monitoring the 18-year-old’s progress in the Turkish Super Lig, where he has impressed with his goalscoring prowess.
Kilicsoy has netted an impressive nine goals in his last 10 games this season. His pace, movement, and finishing ability have caught the attention of several top European clubs including Arsenal – as Turkish-Football reported yesterday.
The striker burst onto the scene last December and has gone onto become a star player at Besiktas scoring 10 goals and providing one assist.
United are believed to be keen on adding young, dynamic forwards to their squad as they aim to compete for major trophies in the coming years.
Kilicsoy could face himself in a transfer battle this summer if he continues his meteoric rise and breaks into the Turkish national team for Euro 2024.
The Super Lig has developed a name for producing talent with Arda Guler joining Real Madrid, Yunus Emre Konak moving to Brentford and Enes Unal being transferred to Bournemouth.
However, securing Kilicsoy’s signature could prove challenging. Besiktas are reportedly reluctant to sell their prized asset and may demand a significant transfer fee.
